YAS MARINA CIRCUIT WELCOMES F1 TEAMS FOR ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX
Abu Dhabi, UAE, xx November 2023: All 10 teams have arrived for the 15th FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX as drivers prepare to compete for the final time in 2023.
Yas Marina Circuit welcomed the teams for the season-finale just days after the Las Vegas Grand Prix which was won by Max Verstappen, his 18th victory of the season.
Although Verstappen and his Red Bull team have secured the drivers’ and constructors’ titles after another dominant season, there will be no shortage of visitors to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with the event expected to attract its biggest attendance.
There’s all to play at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso tied in fourth position with 200 points with Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc also lurking behind. In the constructors’ standings, Mercedes holds a four-point advantage over Ferrari for the race for the second spot while McLaren are in the driving seat with a 11-point advantage over Aston Martin for fourth position.
