WIN A VIRTUAL AUTOGRAPH SESSION WITH AN F1 DRIVER

Yas Marina Circuit and F1 are bringing fans closer to the action with a brand-new competition

Winners will receive a video call with a driver of their choice from the teams taking part, including Mercedes and Red Bull

Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, UAE, November 2020: If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to take part in a video call with your favourite Formula 1 driver, you might be about to find out thanks to a competition which is running ahead of the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2020.

While this year’s Race Weekend, which is closed to spectators, will be a simpler, rawer edition of the event, the organizers have looked for other ways to bring fans closer to the action and drivers, with the launch of a unique competition in which the winners will experience a once-in-a-lifetime interview with their favourite drivers.

The best part about this fantastic opportunity is that it couldn’t be easier to enter – and potentially win.

All participants need to do is fill in a form with your personal details and wait for the lucky winners to be drawn at random.

Winners will be able to enjoy a one-on-one video session with the driver of your choice, who will then sign an autograph which will be sent to your address by Formula 1.

The F1 teams taking part are:
  • Mercedes
  • Red Bull
  • Renault
  • Alfa Romeo
  • Alpha Tauri

The deadline for submitting entries is Tuesday 1 December, so act quickly in order to ensure you don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity.

The FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2020 takes place from 11-13 December at Yas Marina Circuit where Lewis Hamilton, who has already clinched the championship, will be aiming to record a third consecutive victory in Abu Dhabi.

Yas Island will transform into an ‘F1 biosphere’, creating one of the largest ‘safe zones’ in the region with access restricted to essential F1 staff, drivers and teams. With significant stakeholder collaboration and planning across UAE government entities and in alignment with F1 management, the precautionary health measures in place during the F1 weekend on Yas Island prioritize the wellbeing of the F1 community while maintaining the competitive integrity of the final race of the season.
