At Yas Marina Circuit, our involvement in esports goes back to the finals of the inaugural F1 esports finals at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2018. Since then we have seen the rapid development of esports globally as a sport but also as a pathway in to real world racing. Now, Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management (ADMM) has taken further steps in the development of a new home for digital motorsport and SIM racing, through a partnership with Gfinity, a world-leading esports and gaming solutions provider.
Together we have created the GLOBAL RACING SERIES which will consist of numerous virtual racing platform competitions. The first championship, marking the activation of the 5-year agreement between ADMM and Gfinity, is the V10 R-League featuring some of the worlds leading esports racing teams.
GLOBAL RACING SERIES
The Global Racing Series will feature a range of internationally focused virtual motorsport leagues and competitions, designed to provide commercial opportunities with brands, broadcasters and teams.
Starting with the V10 R-League, competitions and formats will be rolled out over the coming months.

V10 R-LEAGUE
The V10 R-League, the first league under the Global Racing Series, will involve eight teams competing against each other in a round robin-head-to-head format. Two seasons will run per year. The teams are competing for a prize pot of £100,000 per season.
Featuring some of the best racing teams in the world including Ford (Fordzilla), JAESA Team Suzuki, YAS Heat and Williams Esports and more to follow.
